Residents who commute from East Austin to downtown offices can expect shorter wait times once the new frequencies begin. The city budget document lists an additional 22,000 annual service hours for the three routes. The same document projects that property owners along the corridors will see no direct change to assessed values from the transit spending, because the allocations come from existing sales-tax revenue rather than new fees.
